Calendar of Events

The Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., hosts a special  screening of the documentary Finding Lucinda, followed by a live performance from ISMAY, the featured artist in the film, and a Q&A. Directed by Joel Fendelman and produced by Liz McBee, the film follows ISMAY (Avery Hellman) on a road trip through the South in search of inspiration by exploring the early life and legacy of three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams. With interviews from Williams herself alongside artists such as Charlie Sexton, Buddy Miller, and Mary Gauthier, the film offers an intimate look at the lasting influence of Lucinda’s music, including rare unreleased footage and songs. 7 p.m. Get tickets at panida.org/event/finding-lucinda.
