Join this annual event starting at 11 a.m. at the Sandpoint City Beach boat launch. The event is free and open to the public, and food donations are being accepted for the Bonner Community Food Bank.

Meet at the Sled Barn in your outdoor gear for a fun filled day outside sledding, playing games, exploring, building snow forts, and warming up around the fire with s'mores and hot chocolate. Join at the Panida for this 2019 mystery thriller. The circumstances surrounding the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey are mysterious, but there's one thing that renowned detective Benoit Blanc knows for sure. The Bonner County History Museum, 611 S. Ella, invites you to bring children 2 and older to enjoy hands-on activities and imaginative play at Free First Saturday. Pop in for a short visit or stay and play between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admission.

Held on the second Friday of each month, it's the 2024 Contra Dance Series. Dance your heart out to live music, and meet your neighbors. Prior dancing experience is not required. All ages are welcome, and you don't have to bring a partner. Beginners are encouraged to arrive on time for the introductory dancing at 7 p.m. $5 donation is suggested for each dance. Sandpoint Rotary hosts the annual 150-mile CHAFE bike ride through Montana and Idaho, along with an 80-mile option and Family Fun Ride. Proceeds benefit the Lake Pend Oreille School District's Literacy Initiative and after-school reading programs. Get more information CHAFE150.org.

Come out and watch this performance by Studio 1. Expect a jazzy, tapping, acrobatic filled performance with some lovely touches of ballet throughout. Show will be held at the Panida, 300 N. First Ave. at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in the studio, or at the door. The 5:30 performance will feature the younger dancers, and the 7 p.m. performance will feature the older dancers. $25 adults, $15 children ($10 discount if you attend both shows).

Come join other parents of children ages 0-5 to learn how to teach your child the important skills they will need to be successful, happy learners who are ready for school.  These 90-minute parent workshops are for parents, grandparents, or caregivers of children ages 0-5.  Research shows that birth to age 5 is the most critical learning period and learning is taking place every waking moment. These workshops are free and include incredible toys parents get to take home and use with their children.  Free childcare is also provided during the workshops. The Pend d'Oreille Arts Council presents a step back in time with Living Voices as they bring to live the compelling narrative of a young Irish immigrant's voyage to a new land in the early 1900's. Through a captivating blend of dynamic solo performances and archival film, witness Bridget's courageous journey from the cramped quarters of steerage to the gates of Ellis Island and the bustling streets of New York City.
