Winter Carnival: Eichardt's K9 Keg Pull
Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, 11:15am
It's the final, and favorite event of the Winter Carnival. Dogs and their owners race down a snowy course on Cedar St. in front of Eichardt's Pub. Dogs will pull kegs appropriate to their size (as small as a beer can for a chihuahua) as they race the block for the best time and prizes. This is a fundraising event for Better Together Animal Alliance. Registration begins at 10:15 a.m. with races set to begin at 11 a.m.

March 2 Annual Gun 'N Horn Show

The Bonner County Fairgrounds, 4203 N. Boyer, hosts their annual event the first full weekend in March. Admission is $5, and kids 11 and under are free. Buy, sell, and trade guns, hunting accessories, knives, hides, taxidermy, and more. Show is open Friday from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. $5 entry fee per day, kids 12 and under are free. Or get a weekend pass for $10.
