The Bonner County History Museum, 611 S. Ella, invites you to bring children 2 and older to enjoy hands-on activities and imaginative play at Free First Saturday. Pop in for a short visit or stay and play between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admission.

Kids in K-6 are invited to Kids Night out on Dec. 20, Jan. 17, and Feb. 21. Parents can enjoy a night out while their kids spend the evening meeting new friends, playing board games, doing crafts, and enjoying some pizza. Kids night out is $35/per event night. The Cedar Street Bridge Public Market celebrates their 1-year Anniversary of new ownership and management with a fun-filled Family Day! There will be games, face painting, specials, a photo booth, hot cocoa bar, and deals throughout the Bridge. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It's the final, and favorite event of the Winter Carnival. Dogs and their owners race down a snowy course on Cedar St. in front of Eichardt's Pub. Dogs will pull kegs appropriate to their size (as small as a beer can for a chihuahua) as they race the block for the best time and prizes. This is a fundraising event for Better Together Animal Alliance. Registration begins at 10:15 a.m. with races set to begin at 11 a.m.

The Bonner County Fairgrounds, 4203 N. Boyer, hosts their annual event the first full weekend in March. Admission is $5, and kids 11 and under are free. Buy, sell, and trade guns, hunting accessories, knives, hides, taxidermy, and more. Show is open Friday from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. $5 entry fee per day, kids 12 and under are free. Or get a weekend pass for $10. First Ave. Brought to you by POAC, you can experience the soulful essence of The Wardens, where tales of the land come alive through haunting harmonies and captivating narratives. Comprised of Canadian national park wardens with over 50 years of collective service, this Rocky Mountain-based band's music is a tribute to the wilderness they have safeguarded.
