Be a part of the women's retreat at the Scotia House from the evening of May 3 thru late afternoon on May 5. The weekend will include storytelling, authentic movement, expressive arts, dreamwork, and community. Cost is $129-$189 (sliding scale) plus $70 for two nights lodging. $100 for a private room. Get over to Parkside Church, 423 N. Lincoln will be the location of this year's Bike Rodeo. From 3-5 p.m. bring your bike or scooter, and helmet (there will be some available for kids who do not have one - while supplies last). There will be a bike safety check with minor repairs offered. Learn about bike safety and practice your skills. Also, check out the new bike skills park at Travers Park.

Just in time for Mothers Day! Local crafters and vendors come together in a beautiful location so that you can shop for that unique gift. Come check out some local craftsman or try out the new flavors of Nutlicious hazelnut spreads from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Event will be held at Nutlicious, 25820 Hwy. 2, Dover.

Kendal Mountain Tour is Britain's biggest adventure film festival. This is the second year the film tour has made its way overseas to the Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., with a collection of seven mountain, cultural, and adventure films for 2024. Show starts at 7 p.m. with doors opening 1 hour before the show. Get tickets at Panida.org.

It's a block party in downtown Sandpoint! Help support the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Join for live music, a raffle, an auction, and activities for the whole family. Local food and drink vendors will show off their best Cinco de Mayo offerings. Event will be held from 12:00-4:00 p.m. on the block of 113 Main St. There is no entry fee, but there will be tickets for food and drinks available to purchase. See the Facebook event here.

May's topic is Home Buying, possibly the biggest investment in your life. Presented by founders of the Black Diamond Real Estate team, Tyler Wagner and Katyn Krystinak will be at the Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar St. from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Community Rooms.

Experience the health, happiness, and community connection of hiking in your community forest, Pine Street Woods, 11915 W. Pine St., with free monthly Health Hikes. Join on the first Tuesday of each month for some light morning cardio hiking on a nature trail minutes from downtown. A 45-minute morning nature hike with one of our partner medical professionals will include a group discussion on a current health topic. Bring your water bottle and hiking shoes. 8:30-9:15 a.m. This month's chat will be led by Dr. Meg from Lakeshore Health.

This is a free event that will be held at the Panida, 300 N. First Ave. Children Performing for Children by The Music Conservatory of Sandpoint's after school program; Music Matters! Performing a compilation of selections written by American composers in various themes including folk, movie themes, and pop. Performed by students in the Music Matters! Orchestra, Youth Choir, Ensemble Choir, Percussion & Handbell Choir. Suggested donation of $5. Show will be held at 6 p.m. with doors opening 1 hour prior.
